Honeymooning in North India

Hi

Could anyone suggest a beautiful place to spent your honeymoon in North India. The budget comes to around 35000 and the time is in August/September(4/5 nights).

An ideal place could be a hill resort or something. It should be safe and within the budget i mentioned.I would be very grateful if you could mention places to visit nearby.

I tried for a trip to Maldives but it turned out to be costly.

Hi buddy,

I would suggest you to go for Himachal as it has amazing scenery and more over the temp and cost effective spot.
You can take a flight frm Trivandrum to Chandigarh and from there hire a cab/ taxi and get to places like Chail, Kufri, Rampur, Shimla, Kullu, Manali.

If you intend to spend just 4-5 days, then I would suggest you to check out Chail and areas arround as its not at all crouded and you will enjoy the environment there. Maximum cost would for stay there would be Rs.500/- per day and very safe. Last few times i had been there with my wife on my bike. I didnt even lock my bike as its that safe. Total population of that town is 356 people. And you would hardly find tourists arround.
