Hampi Clouds
Visited Hampi this weekend . The place looked all the more awesome with the cloud cover and the wind .
My intial intention was to try out my new Canon Rebel Xti . Not that I know nething of photography .Just trying my hands on it . Comments and criticism appreciated . P.S : The Tungabhadra Dam is a must visit . If not told I cud have confused it for a sea !!! for its vast expanse . Havent seen a bigger reservoir in my lifetime . |

There is a paper clip icon on the task bar to attach files, just like how we have it in Outlook. Click on that and it will take you to another upload window. Browse to the path in your local computer and select the desired image and Click Upload and Voila !! Copy pasted from my reply to another IM friend!! ![]()

The best view was around 7 in the evening
the sky was blue , violet , black , red and pink at places .. But the images came so shaky due to low light I suppose . I donot have a tripod and didnt find a stable place for support . This is the Tungabhadra Dam I was talking about . The 1st photo is the view of the river from a resturant called "Mango Tree" Last edited by devleenas : Aug 6th, 2007 at 14:57. Reason: typo |

Devleenas, Yeah, it will take a sometime to see all my pictures! I tend to upload all pics I click! BTW: the 2nd picture (with a large sunflower in foreground) is really a great shot! Looks like any army of sunflowers marching forward! Is the picture with the priest (with the tummy) taken at the Kothandarama Temple on the bank of Tungabhadra river? .... KS

ummmm, as far as I remember , this is the temple where Ram worshipped while Hanuman went to fetch sanjivani .
donot remember the exact name ![]() It provides a great view point for sunset . the sunflower fields were on the way back home . I love the bangalore mangalore rode !!! its always a great drive and I always end up getting excellent weather on that stretch . |
