Easy way to find pictures of places you want to visit

The fastest way to get an idea about the places you want to visit and if there is anything interesting for you there is to use Image Google:

It's amazing how often I found that a place that the Lonely Planet guide describes as "of limited interest" was in fact of a lot of interest for me, particularly some sites in Gujarat.
Using Image Google I even found this unusual site with computer images of Fatehpur Sikri:

as an easy way to figure out if there is something interesting for you in the place yo plan to visit. You can also use a similar service from altavista:

http://www.altavista.com/cgi-bin/que...q&stype=simage


Tip: On both pages there are links to get rid of the frames added by the search engine when you open a new window for each image you want.

It is also better to open the whole page itself where the picture is located rather than just open the picture, that way you will discover many interesting sites with many other pictures and info (these two services don't show all the pictures present on a page)
