Digital Cameras in India

I am thinking of taking my Digital Camera to India and I am looking for helpful tips on what to do/take and not what to do/take!]

Anything would be appreciated......

(1) Has anyone had any problems (or tips?) with charging their betteries at their accommodation? (with the power supply)

(2) Has anyone had any problems putting their photos on to a CD? (using UBS cord)

any general tips you have learnt ???

Hi Travelmore,
Your welcome to India.
You can come with ur digital camera here is not anyproblem to charge ur camera battery.There is not any problem to charge battery at accommodation.You can put ur photos which u will take at different tourist palace on your CD.You can get this facility at cyber cafe.You can come with everything which is allowed by indian government.

Hi Travelmore,
I brought my digital camera on my last trip and really didn't have any problems with it, except for some young kids smashing it up a bit.

See also this thread on some tips for what to bring.

One thing I did have some problems with was finding computers with any Image Editing software on them, like Photoshop, to trim images down for emailing to friends.

Overall most cybercafes are geared up for digital cameras and some have CD burners that you can use.
