D90 price in chennai/bangalore

Hi clickers,

can anybody tell me the price of D90 in chennai or bangalore.
The price of only camera kit(without bag/memory card/tripod) is expected to be less price than delhi. It is Rs 77k with bag in delhi..

please help me to select the city from where to buy the camera?

If you're asking about showroom price, there isn't going to differences between cities (difference between showrooms may exist).
If you're asking about the gray market price (brand new sealed piece, without company guarantee) , then there are minor differences - of around 1-1.5k. And yes, they are supposed to cheaper in Chennai, but without right contacts, it may be tough for you to get the lowest price, although you can easily get a decent deal.

I have decided to purchase D90 from grey market in delhi(chandni chowk) but still i am looking for any reliabler delear.
i am wondering whether they will give me new piece or not.

somebody suggested me to go to golu bhaiya.anybody having any idea about his reliability for a new camera?

You should be able to reasonably distinguish between a used and a new piece. A new piece is a brand new one with bubble wrap on it. It gray because its not intended for sale in India.

but they can also put bubble wrap in their shop. In grey market, the camera doesn't come in the complete box pack. Everything is open and can be replaced by another old camera of the same model.

D90 18-105mm VR kit is near $1300 in US. So, one can't expect less then 75K in India (gray market value).

Go to Pritam Sons at chandni chowk, he is a reliable dealer for gray and with bill also, you will get cameras at cheaper rates here.
Why donot u try at Santosh Stores at Kathmandu, besides main gate of Vishal Bazar ?? As i remember they r the best and cheapest another one is Mr Pawan's cameras shop, he is a good dealer there on new road near Bathwal's camera shop, Photoconcern is also a good shop but costly.

nikon D90 with 15-105mm lenses is priced around 58,000/- at bangalore grey market.

D90 Body only is 45K without bill

chennai is cheapest place for imported goods or otherwise smuggled goods, the price includes 18-105 lens with the kit but without bill.

Another IM member is in the process of buying an advanced point and shoot camera and I had a talk with him recently. So, luckily I have an idea of Nikon P80 & L100. L100 is in the range of 11K, P80 around 14K in the gray market. Another nice camera Fuji Finepix S2000 is being sold at 11K in the gray market.
