camera insurance (bought from UK) Hi there, I have a 20d with two lenses, all amouting to about £2000. (Yikes!) After uhming and arhing over whether to take my cheap manual SLR or my new 20d I decided to go with the 20d, and I cant turn back now. I'll be in India for 5 weeks in Rajasthan, Goa and Kerela. Essentially I'm going as an amateur doing no organsied commissioned work. Can anyone recomened what kind of insurance I should get and what pitfalls to look out for...i.e. the smallprint to look out for? Thanks, Emily

How not to get your camera pinched? I'm taking my 20d and accessories and would like some advise on safety. I'll have good insurance but need some tips on avoiding sticking out too much in a crowd and attracting too much attention. I was thinking of taking a small rucsac for daytime and putting the majority of kit in the bag and having my camera in a very old, tatty canon leather case... I'll be in Rajasthan, Kerela and Goa for 5 weeks...including staying in beach huts! Thanks, Emily

The kind of small print to watch out for is 'any item or set of items more than GBP n in value'. Exclusions of professional equipment. 'Excludes cameras' would be a bad one for you too ![]()
