Gimp is Photoshop for the penniless --- its free, but it still a big graphics package when just a couple of functions are required.
Google might be more help on this... I just did this with Irfanview, which is a Generally Very Useful Free Software. You can change the font, size, colour ![]() . |

Forget all that...use FastStone Image Viewer
It has batch processing function which will resize, add watermark, add border, blah, blah, blah. After a long search I settled on this one...and you know what? Its a freeware ![]() |

Thanks.
I don't need watermarking, but I find the batch features of Irfanware very straightforward to use. I've copied a heap of stuff to a portable device this evening, reducing it to 800x600 at the same time. None the less, will take a look at FastStone ![]() <The Next Day> Hmmm... Irfanview on steroids Very nice. Thanks for the hint ![]() Last edited by Nick-H : Apr 27th, 2009 at 13:28. |

Yes, it has batch features.
The interface is very simple, too, with tabs for different functions, and green markers to show that you are doing something under that tab. I'm already thinking to make it my default viewer, for a start! |
