are there any photographers associations in india???
any association or group that encouraged hobbyists or armatures??

Please contact Mr. Benu Sen, Secretary-General, FIP at the said address.

They bring out a monthly booklet called "Viewfinder" which contains detailed information about all photography salons/exhibitions held worldwide. Almost all photography clubs and associations in India recognise this as their parent body and abide by the rules and guidelines laid down by FIP. Several of these conduct the Basic and Advanced (Diploma in Photography) course as per the guidelines of FIP.

In 2006 there was http://www.inayaart.com/
They started the first real fine art Photo collective in India. A friend was in one of their photo shows. I'm not sure if they are still active?

Lightstalkers is open to anyone who wants to participate. We have no membership requirements, only a code of sharing and cooperation.
