Alang - Graveyad of Ships
hi:
i'm planning on taking a trip to Alang in Gujarat, probably in Feb/Mar to photoraph these surreal landscape. If you dont know this is one of the biggest junkyards of ships from all over the world. the ships are beached, broken down to scraps and nearly 100% recycled. ofcourse there are some environmental consequences. i'm just interested in photographing...i would love to hear from people who have been there and photographed. i wouldnt mind a company of like minded person... cheers! |
