A Photo I Love

My son went to India this past summer and had the time of his life. One of my favorite photos was of these girls he took. It seems it's a top fav of others as well, it's in a photo contest and so far is #2 in the Readers Choice (no prizes for RC, but it's nice to know it's appreciated!) He has 4 others on page 2 from there - I wish he had them posted somewhere to link you to them another way, some of them are absolutely amazing - as were the people and country he encountered!

http://photos.herald.com/WinnerCircle.aspx?ContestId=37

If you go to the GALLERY on PAGE 2 you can see the other 4 photos he took:

Girl with Bangles - Taj Mahal in the Evening - Village Outside of Chennai - Shore Temple at Sunrise

Hope you enjoy the girls as much as I do!

Seems the link that comes through above only takes you to a blank page - it's in the gallery for the adults, - here's the direct page, it's on the top row, right and titled:

SCHOOL CAMP IN TAMIL NADU

http://photos.herald.com/showPhotos.aspx?ContestId=44&P age=2

Just click on it for a larger version -

Will try to post direct picture later if able

Beautiful... I loved the composition of "Shore Temple at Sunrise" too.

Nice! I liked "Village Outside of Chennai" -- the quality of it looks like a painting more than a photo

Thanks for all the replies, I'm going to pass this along to my son. I'm hoping he'll put the pics on a site like Photobucket if he hasn't already (he may have but never told me).

This picture, I honestly feel this could be a tourism photo. He took another picture of the Taj Mahal, it's picture perfect, but I'm sure there's a lot just like it, but this one with the girls, the innocence, their smiles, it really is my fav. of them all.

Feel free, if you wish, to vote for this picture. He doesn't get anything for being a readers choice winner, but hopefully the panel of judges that votes will choose his for it's content and all the other aspects they are looking for, it would be nice if he won, but honestly, if he didn't, he feels like a winner already from having had the experience of a lifetime having spent 45 days in Chennai!

If I can get him to upload some pics I'll definitely post them!

THANKS!!!!

Just had a chance to look at some of the pictures you all have - now I can see even more the beauty of the country my son fell in love with - there's some amazing photography in your pics!

If anyone wants to vote for any of his pics, please feel free to do so, just by checking the one you like and then clicking on the VOTE page at the bottom. Again, he doesn't win anything but being recognized as a readers choice award.
