Women in blazers?

Do women in India wear blazers, and if I wear one will I look to the Indians like I'm trying to go drag? I have a Travelsmith blazer with lots of inside pockets that I wear on most of my trips, but I don't want the Indians to laugh at me or think less of me.

No one is gonna laugh at u. Trust me! Foreigners usually get some attention coz of their skin color and the way they dress...but if ur neatly covered up, i dont see a prob. btw, u will find Indian working women in cities wearing blazers.

Depending on where you're going you may be a little too hot

Thanks for answering. Yes, I will definitely bring my blazer--I like to wear it in cities because it has lots of inside pockets to put really important stuff in.

We're going to Delhi and Rajasthan, and it seems to be pretty cool there in January-February, so I will need something.
