What to pack?? female advice needed please

Hi everyone,

I pulled out my backpack today and starting to get organised as I leave next week, so excited!

I intend to purchase some salwar kameez in Jaipur (i arrive on 2nd day). In the meantime would these items of clothing be appropriate to wear ?
* 3/4 pants
* trouser/cargo pants
* 3/4 length long skirt

Also are tshirts considered ok? Or do I need to completely cover up? I want to be respectful of cultures and in no way attract negative attention to myself so I thought I would ask the experts.

I arrive in Delhi @ 2am, I pretty much have a short sleep and onto Jaipur, so no time for shopping in Delhi.

Is the weather still warmish in November? I understand in Mcleod Ganj it will be cooler and I will pick up extra clothing there if necessary.

3/4 pants, cargo pants, long skirts and t-shirts will be fine.

Have a Wonderfull & Safe Trip.

Don't forget the Vegemite.

You shouldn't have any problems travelling 2AC on the trains,
Just keep your valuables under your pillow at night.

The train Stations throughout India usually have Good Chai wallahs.

ahh I should not have worred so much about the dress code, so far it has been unnecessary in Delhi & Jaipur.

One man in old Jaipur city yelled at me 'Where is your veil madam', but that has been it, no problems

I love it here, i felt like I was coming home
