What to carry.?

Going to kashmir on next sunday:-)
i am excited about it along with 18 of my friends..
Its a 20 day trip spanning leh, srinagar , amritsar, delhi, mumbai..
What all things do i have to carry in my backpack other than my dresses and winter wear.?
We are planning to have budget accommodation..

What all documents do i need to submit to get an inner line permit from leh to go to nubra valley.?
I am an indian citizen..

For inner line permit we just needed to submit/show our Indian passports.

Oops..
18 of us have our driving licence..
Only few have passsorts..
One of us only have the college id card..
Is it sufficient.?
Will we get our permits with that.?

Just call up one of the travel agents and ask them this question. There are numbers of some recommended leh travel agents in various threads.
