Looks like a hit or miss thing in terms of getting it and THEN looking ridiculous. Some make sense, others tbfft.

I had to laugh at all those gadgets. How dopey can you get!

But then I recalled wanting to buy a Gamma Scout to take to India at the end of last year. You know, to test for radiation levels just in case I inadvertently wandered too close to a reactor that was leaking badly or stumbled upon a terrorist smuggling fissile material in 2AC? This was after the Indian NPT waiver at the NSG. I thought the world must be going crazy, then came the Mumbai attacks to add "fuel" to these sort of speculations.

Anyway, I ended up not buying one as it was a bit too pricey ($400 shipped from Japan), but also I was wondering about being stopped in customs and how I'd explain??????
