Just sussed out a new pair of Tevas, since I posted the above!!!
"Pretty Rugged Nylon"
Size 6
Color: Japanese Flower Navy

I'll bring those, and shower flip flops, though maybe redundant w/ my new Tevas....

Maybe also very very old running shoes...? We'll see what's up w/ space and weight when it's time to go.

TEVAS rules!

really.

I'm still use my 5 years old pair of Tevas. The original "plastic" one (not leather). Water is absolutely no problem and they are nearly indestructible.

I'm always took to pair of shoes to India:

1. Tevas
2. light outdoor walking shoes with good handy sole.

i seem to recall, many many years ago, backpacking for a month all over the mountains in my Tevas.

however, i also seem to recall that i had nicer, better, healthier, (even cuter!) feet than i do now.......... nothing like running to chew up and spit out feet.

why are you 'stuck' on what to bring? can't you bring in shoes,
sandals, chappals together?

BTW, you do not need shoes in India.

yo, concoran, if you're talking to me, it's simple: i run everyday (many miles) and nothing makes me more miserable than crappy footwear.

what do you wear? or are you sans shoes?
