You should be able to post, but since Indiapost is not going to refrigerate, the recipient will probably get goo. Or the goo will probably be impounded enroute due to fears of a biological attack.

I had sent a chocolate through courier once. My friend did not receive it.

Try to send when the weather's cold!!! I think you could send, but what's it going to be like by the end of the journey? Exactly as Manojb has indicated...

What is the temperature in Visakhapatnam just now?

Indian chocolate should be ok. I think the temperature in Chennai just now is high enough to make imported chocolate soft but not liquid. I might get a bit out of the fridge and try it later!

But, as a previous poster has said, if it is left out in the sun, that may well reduce it to sauce.

Classic

If only someone could make it possible to send material objects via email. I would charge a couple of lakh per person and get every punjabi into the UK via email.

But are you planning to detoxify 'em before transporting?
Otherwise....these anti-virus packs are gonna spoil their ride mate.

On a more practical note, the chocolate when cold, can be packed inside Thermocol layers and ZIPLOCKed.
