Sandals?
I've been told that I'll get cheap sandals in India upon arrival. However, my feet tend to be very hard on footwear and it's important that I buy good quality footwear to avoid blisters etc. I want to get a good pair of sandals, Teva, Merrell etc. or some other quality brand. The Teva sandals cost c. €80 in Dublin, will I get them cheaper in India (arriving in Bombay) or should I go ahead and buy them here if I want to be sure. The reason I ask is coz every penny counts at the mo.........
Thanks! |

I bought a pair of fila trekking shoes after arriving in Colaba, Mumbai for 500rps which is about 1/4 of the amount I would have had to pay in Berlin...

Sandals of a teva similar type should be easy to find.
Quality can vary though. But I must say that I found once some sandals that were just perfect for my feet, more comfortable than any brand name sandals I tried. Unfortunately I didn't find the same type again later. ![]()
