Sunglasses dont occupy much space. If you like to wear them, bring them.
Usually sunglasses are easy to wear and remove

I bet some film stars have entire teams dedicated to placing, adjusting, and removing sunglasses!

When we saw some filming going on at the fort in Hyderabad, the obvious star of the piece (we joked about the fact that none of us recognised him, so how about going up to him and asking, 'are you someone famous?') had a whole retinue just holding his umbrella to keep the sun off him!

LOL, Nick - and doesn't it show you flimsy 'fame' is! And only relevant to a certain group of people or country. People here are 'kissing the feet' of the Collector - if I saw him I'd think just another local. Mr K hasn't a clue who Prince Charles, Princess Diana are or Madonna or MJ (won't mention the name the thread might die!) who wore or are still wearing sunglasses!
He does know the Queen of England because I once told him she was one of the wealthiest persons in the world. But he doesn't know what she looks like - never seen her on TV or a picture in mag or newspaper.

LOL, I for India! I think it works two ways - you can ogle the leering males at the same time without them knowing you are looking! And if the males are having these glasses you wouldn't know if they are looking at you...It's a bit like the village women going to the loo - they cover their faces thinking because they can't see anyone no one is looking at them!!!

Oh, yes. The film stars and their retinues.

On the "six-starrer" Bollywood film I worked on, the stars were up in arms that they ONLY got to bring 2 or 3 members of their entourage apiece! They got a hair and/or makeup person, a "boy" (sort of personal assistant, but completely useless in the US since these guys are not going to be able to do many of the things an American personal assistant would, so they basically evolved into personal tea-bringers), and a driver and a security person who were hired in the USA. Some of the super-important folks (*cough*Bachchan*cough*) got to bring a few more people, of course. And they all got unlimited spouses, family, and the like.

You really can't mock this, though, because American stars in the USA get even more people, and they get to reliably have the same ones from project to project. See also the American TV show "Entourage".
