Don't you have an ATM card issued by your bank in the UK?

There's been several discussions about financial options whilst travelling, and although things like TCs still are a good option, there has been a very strong response to the availability, functionality and convenience of ATM cards, although some have high usage fees.. I'll find the thread and post a link

Ahhh... the joys of multiple subscriptions. The thread I am referring to is on ThornTree (The Lonely Planet one)... it is at http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/me...1&paren tid=0

If this fails go to the the thorn tree site and you'll get the guff if you go for the Indian sub-continent thread.

So much info, so little time....though have to say IM is excellent for the India guuf.

Do you mean the american express card thats been advertised recently. Seems good idea as you just top it up when necessary and can get refund if card is lost. Like you waiting more feed back before I commit myself.
