Ermm, the torch you would get one for Rs.90/- or thereabouts with 4 duracell batteries thrown in. Not much else 'cept like Rs.500 approx for my pint :P and a big hug from me to all the inmates of Argus Care, the Grange

From what I remember last time I was in India (admittedly many moons ago) I was so glad I'd taken a plug with me for the sink hole! Homoeopathic stuff too.

The best thing I took along were those antibacterial "Wet Ones". The alcohol in them will make you feel cooler if it's really hot. They come in travel packs. Safe travels!

I brought a very small nail brush, and am happy to have it; my nails are clean AND I can scrub my heels with it.

BTW, the clothing I brought from the US is rayon (viscose), not cotton. No wrinkles and it dries very quickly under the fan... as do the microfiber undies.

This is very possibly just an old wives tale, but I've heard that if you smell sweet you're more likely to be bitten by mosquitos.
So while I wouldn't advocate leaving deodorant at home, maybe you'd be better off without the mango body butter?
