Now That the Sun's Gone Down...

I know that during the day from March to August it stays rather warm. No need for long-johns or thermals. My question is; Does it get chilly enough at night (specifically in the Kolkata area) to require any further clothes past a t-shirt and a loose linen shirt?
Thanks for the info.
