If you can get a decent shave with for a couple of cents at any barber's why would you take the oil?

While i love my barber and the entire haircut+shave+massage that i get, its easier , atleast for me, most times to just do it on my own..esp for out of town business trips...if one is vacationing i barely tend to shave at all...

I know this is expensive at 240 INR for the small bottle but for me it would be convenience..

(well, you get those that go with foam these days I guess).

I ended up retro fitting the one I got from hobotraveler and then making one for the wife as he didnt sell them anymore - and I can't sew for sheet! He did post the pattern at one point so you could make it yourself - I'll look n see if he still does. I swear it's the greatest packing invention ive come across- used it in thailand/burma/yunnan/brazil (not india yet) and would be lost without it. I use a 45L pack and this thing rolls up all my clothes into the bottom 3rd. I can unroll it and have an instant hanging closet in less than a minute. I'll post some pics. I'm sure a tailor could knock it up from the photo ref in an hour

Here's the pattern - I thought it was a bit more detailed than this- I replaced the outer roll with rip-stop nylon so it will slip in and out of a pack easier - but kept the pocket bits basic cotton

But I'd been thinking should be fairly easy to make yourself with a bit of creativity yes. It's a nice concept. Reminds me of those things your (or some of ours anyway) parents would have hanging from the back of the car frontseats to keep you kids occupied with assorted goodies and games and surprises during long holiday rides. I.e., a piece of cloth with a bunch of compartments. (Yes, I suppose this was before the invention of car multimedia-sets

)

Thats funny Brishti.
I read your post whilst a few friends were over - drinking - and it became a riot party game. Who knew you could have so much fun with an old t shirt!

I got it down after 10 tries - does'nt work with a shirt tho - or maybe the tequila has really kicked in.

heck - keep with 'em tequilas - who knows what other ways one can fold a t-shirt!!!

perhaps IM can hold a t-shirt folding contest [ complete with timer and all ] in all their meetups!
only clause being - you gotto get enough down the hatch before beginning!
