....leave tomorrow for 24 days in India, so doing last minute packing/shopping? What little things am I going to find most useful in India? What are the things I'm going to most wish I'd thought to bring with me?

Wet wipes, toilet paper, mosquito repellant, sun block - or are these suggestions just too obvious??

Passports, moneys + tickets. Add a sense of humour, and maybe a universal sink plug, and your ready to face anything. Enjoy. |

enough proper chocolate to get you through your travels. its just not the same overhere and i am wishing i'd filled a bit more of my backpack with dairy milk. then again, maybe this is just a girl thing, or just a chocoholic thing, but anything you love you cant be without, a bit of luxury is good for you.
have fun. |

chocolate I guess is a universal affair, most of my friends bring swiss chocolates(they melt into mouths) & good to also make friends
The other one is good wine although nowadays u get good wines here in India also (Nasik being a good source to taste wines). |

the thing I didn't even think of but wish I had brought was...
a handkerchief! I brought tissue but absolutely hated creating any waste at all so it would've been nice to have to just kind of mop off the sweat on my forehead, etc. On that same note, I was so glad I had brought hand sanitizer so I didn't have to use wet wipes and create waste. I would carry any trash around with me all day because I never saw trash cans so (besides obvious environmental concerns) reusable stuff was the way to go!!!
