One personal questions .. I am 6'3 tall (193cm). Consequently long legs. Do I get trousers in india (e.g. cities like Chennai)??
As i can only bring 20kg by plane to india, I plan to buy most of the stuff after my arrival.

Yes, you certainly can. And I think you will get some for your size but if you can't a tailor can make them to fit with correct length. (You need to buy the cloth - but plenty of places for this in the big cities). Tailor made pants are excellent and look as good as brand name readymades.

Yes you will. Normal trousers sold in any branded outlet. They will alter and shorten the length for you (yes, shorten, many trousers are sold unhemmed* and will be longer) free of charge.
