having just returned and having no job to come back to and no money to do anything, i find myself reflecting on my trip and (crazy lady) planning the next one....

i have been thinking a lot about my pack and everything that was wrong with it......i have even (BECAUSE I HAVE SO MUCH FREE TIME) considered writing to the company to tell them how to design the perfect pack....

even after all my travels, i still went with the "WRONG BAG"......

next time i want a bag that :

HAS A SHOE COMPARTMENT

LOCKS EVERYWHERE

OPENS FROM THE MIDDLE LIKE A SUITCASE AND NOT THE TOP AND BOTTOM

HAS MORE SECRET POCKETS

FITS IN THE OVERHEAD STORAGE SPACE ON A BUS OR IN THE SMALL STORAGE SPACE IN THE BACK OF A RICKSHAW

IS MADE OF STUDY BUT STRECHY FABRIC (EXPANDABLE?)

HAS A SIDE HANDLE LIKE A SUITCASE

HAS A GLOW IN THE DARK BIT ON IT SOMEWHERE

I SAW A FEW TRAVELLERS WITH BAGS THAT MADE ME DROOL WITH ENVY

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE "PERFECT BAG??"

Eagle Creek has the closest thing. I think w/the help of a good shoemaker you can get your perfect staff done. Good luck!

Ikimasho, Don't know if you can get a perfect bag as you explain above..... but I am sure enough that this site "onebag.com" is the best site on travelling with 'one bag', here is the URL..

http://onebag.oratory.com/home.html

Its an Advertisement free website like indiamike and has been rated by various agencies as the best and most thaughtful site on packing, Hope you like it.
