Heading to LEH in July

I am going to be in Cambodia and Thailand and India for several weeks this summer. I might fly up to Leh in Early July -- does that really throw my packing off?

What would you suggest packing for Leh? I will only be there a few days so no long trekks. How cold is it? Any advice for flying in? Thanks!
Felix

In July, it's not cold. It can get quite warm during the day, and a fleece or a sweater is fine for the evening (and you may not even need that much). In the summer, it's kind of like being in Colorado or the Sierra Nevada.

For flying that route note the special conditions. I have heard no carry on or batteries so ask about that. I would confirm whether the airline requires it or not to lessen the chance of being bumped..

The info on Jet Airways' website is useful. www.jetairways.com

Thanks

Very helpful...I taught skiing in CO so I know that climate well. Glad to hear that it's pretty warm still. I might be opting for Leh over Dharamsala as I don't have accommodation and it's the 70th bday celebration there.
