First Timer
Hi Everyone!
As in the title I am going to be travelling to India for the first time next year. Actually it will be my first time out of the US ever. I'm a little nervous but looking forward to the adventure. I will be visiting a friend who is living in Dharmasala. What I am not looking forward to is the 14hr bus ride from Dehli to Dharmasala. If anyone has an alternative option I will be most grateful. Also if anyone can give me some hints on where to look for a decent priced flight as well as any advice on travelling in India. Thanks so much for your time. Karen |

Travel by the Kangra Valley Railway from Pathankot till Mcleodganj :-)
Seriously, there is only one flight option to Dharamsala: http://www.jagsonairline.com/fs_himachalpradesh.htm

That bus ride will give you a chance to slow down to India's pace. Get a seat in the front of the bus and enjoy it!
