there doesnt seem to be a thread on this anywhere that i can find??

what do you wised people believe to be the essentials for india?

If you look to the bottom of the page you'll see five threads on essentials for India. There are probably many more if you search a little.

The whole site is about the essentials, but more specifically, the India for Beginners section. See the forum listings

i assumed you would have a stickied thread for that sort of thing so was somewhat confused

ive just gotten over swine flu, so still a bit tired and confused at the moment, i apologise for my terrible spelling errors

yea, not the greatest of diseases to pick up two weeks prior to my first trip to india, but it isnt that bad to be honest

just like the flu, but a bit more blurg

Define "essentials."

In my case, a liquor permit springs to mind *hic*. My sister in contrast might like to have her make-up box with her.

Other than that, a well-developed sense of humor, an active interest in things that are completely alien to you, and an underpacked pack would be a good start I guess.

... ps I see only now, you posted this in Packing Tips, so I guess you were looking for those, duh.

It helps though if people would just spell out what they're after, few people will notice at a glance what sub-forum a given question is in.

On what (not) to pack, too, there exist many many threads on this site. Shouldn't be all that hard to find.
