If you look to the bottom of the page you'll see five threads on essentials for India. There are probably many more if you search a little.

The whole site is about the essentials, but more specifically, the India for Beginners section. See the forum listings

Define "essentials."
In my case, a liquor permit springs to mind *hic*. My sister in contrast might like to have her make-up box with her. Other than that, a well-developed sense of humor, an active interest in things that are completely alien to you, and an underpacked pack would be a good start I guess.

... ps I see only now, you posted this in Packing Tips, so I guess you were looking for those, duh.
It helps though if people would just spell out what they're after, few people will notice at a glance what sub-forum a given question is in. On what (not) to pack, too, there exist many many threads on this site. Shouldn't be all that hard to find. |
