| A search on this forum for "converter" or something will lead you to dozens of similar threads & answers, including this recent and perhaps the ultimate one Electric Supply Pins Plugs Adapter etc explained

| Yes, you need one. You can buy it at Radio Shack. Charge your camera batteries at night, when there are fewer power outages. |

| Yep: BUY THERE! None of the 'international adapters' I've ever bought fitted Indian sockets properly ![]() |

Is it: 1. will the plug on my charger fit in Indian sockets? No it wont. As already been said here, buy an adapter in India or is it: 2. will my charger be compatible with the Indian electrical system? There is not enough information to answer that question. Come back with more info. | |

| My digital camera will charge on anything from 100v to 240v. All I need is an adapter, and these are available everywhere in India for about Rs.15/-

| ok, i have a Canon PowerShot digital elph with a chager input of 100v-240v. and after reading the other thread as suggested, my plug won't fit in the indian socket, so i'll need to get a plug adapter, which will cost me about 20 dollars, so looks like the best bet is to get it in Delhi. ![]() |
