Do i need a plug adaptor?

Hi There,

Do i need to bring a plug adaptor with me or the indian one with three holes (type D) will work for my type C (just two) plugs?
If so, alas, i'll invest another 13 bucks on the only one i could find over here...

Thank a lot!

for what it`s worth : I found that my Swedish plugs worked in the Indian wall outlets, albeit with a loose fit. I did bring a surge protector to protect my camera & harddrive.

A tried, tested & cheap method , not by me but other members here , is otherwise just to bring an extension cord from home and just have the plug switched in a electric shop.

You can buy a plug adapter in India for Rs.15/-

They are available everywhere!

I like the Rs.15 option much better than the 14 euros option.
Thanks!
