check luggage at Cochin airport

Does anyone know about checking luggage at the Cochin airport for a day or two? We are arriving in Cochin on Sunday and want to leave luggage for about 36 hours under lock and key, to be able to travel light to Allepe for houseboat stay, and then return to claim luggae before proceeding further. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Facilities

Following facilities are provided to complete the Check-in formalities and for the benefit of passengers

1. Banking and Exchange services are provided by State Bank of Travancore, Federal Bank and M/s. Thomas Cook.
2. Air Insurance counter has been provided to enable passengers to avail this facility in both phases.
3. Postal facility
4. ISD / STD / Local PCOs
5. TR / Book Stalls : Wide variety of reading materials besides travel requisites are available
6. Tobacconist : Provides a wide array of cigarettes, cigars and chewing tobacco.
7. Restaurant
8. Snack bar counters
9. Public Convenience and water coolers
10. X-ray machines has been provided by CIAL for screening the registered baggage of passengers.
11. Free Baggage Trolleys

For the benefit of arriving passengers following facilities / conveniences are available
1. Free Passenger baggage trolleys.
2. Free porterage service for convenience of old, infirm, handicapped and unaccompanied ladies / minors.
3. Drinking water facilities, public convenience for ladies and gents separately.
4. Public telephone facility with STD / ISD facility.
5. The terminal is provided with modern illuminated signage for adequate guidance / location and emergency signage.
6. Tourist Information Counter.

8. Duty Free Shopping Arcade
