The answer is going to be yes, whatever they are - but my mind is spinning at the thought of what "DVDs ~ like in Thailand" are!

I meant pirate DVDs , they have fantastic quality in Thailand and for tv series too .

So I can buy all these things with ease...that's great .

One last thing...how about good copy soccer shirts ? Something to take back as a gift .

I tried one of the small juice boxes and it was horrible .. about 3x as much sugar as they use in the US. Your mileage will vary.

A friend tells me about great prices he gets for Western films on DVD in Delhi ...

Palika Bazaar would be your best bet for movies etc - they keep getting raided though and stock being seized by the cops , not sure of current condition but there will always be a few shopsi guess which will have them

Nehru place is also another hub

Yeah same as Thailand....they start out at some daft price then get slightly more realistic .

Will shop around though as I've got spare days in Jaipur , will look for them there .

Sorry, I was only teasing you, given your "bondage bear" avatar I figured you wouldn't mind.

In the UK those small box drinks are labelled either as "juice" or "juice drink", and of course "juice" doesn't contain any added anything, not even sugar. I didn't have any trouble finding small boxes of actual juice, but perhaps that's to do with some things being easier to find in Delhi.

About the juices, Dabur Foods’ has a flagship brand, Real which has the most amazingly delicious fruit juices incl some quintessential Indian stuff e.g. mosambi/sweet lime. No sugar added. I think though it only comes in one big size, so not great for travel or anything but if you want to drink in the hotel room, it works well. My kids & I can demolish a box easily.

There are many "juices" whose label proudly proclaims, "Contains No Fruit"! On the other hand there are some really good actual-fruit products.

I'm particularly fond of the concentrates made by a company called Mapro. I'm addicted to their Rose Sharbat (with real rose petals), and their Strawberry Crush (with real seeds) is as close to drinking strawberries as I can imagine

Now that's a new one for me - A fruit juice with no fruit, gotta love it! Maybe another candidate for "only in India" award

well you can buy all those things...pirated DVDs...OH YEAH

and in juices, try Tropicana if you don't like much sugar. There are some juice brands which sell 100% juices, like apple juices and all (as in US)

Oh, by the way, I saw Tiger Balm in one of the Himalaya shops; you should have no problem with finding that!
