Camping in South India
Hi,
I'm going to be in india probably camping throughout november and december. how cold does it get at night? can i get away with just a sleeping bag liner and no bag? just trying to get the weight down as much as possible. any help would be great. |

Depends where you are. In the desert & hills it can get below zero at night, in parts of the south you can sleep naked every night. Big country, you know.

stupid me. i'll be staying near bangalore, then in hampi for a while, then heading off to badami. hopefully these are nice and warm?

In those places you probably won't need a sleeping bag, although on a clear night it might get a bit nippy out on the plain.

I recommend you try to use a hammock for the warm nights when possible. It can also be used as a sheet/cover if it is the right style. Happy camping- always wish I did more.
