Budget of £600 a month for a couple, is this enough?

Hi i was just wondering if anyone can give me advice on this we are looking to stay in basic rooms and eat mostly veggie food dont drink alcohol just smoke (guess there that will be chillum)
and are planning to stay 6 months without too much moving around any ideas on this.....????

I guess it depends on how lucky you are with accomodation. GBP600 per month is about Rs.1600 per day, so if you can get some cheap place to stay you should be alright

With 1600 per day you can lead a good life in India with good accomodation and nice food. You can get it done within about 1000Rs per day with good food and acoomodation even in big cities.

I've been here nearly 3 months

and I am averaging 300 - 350 pounds a month. Remember rooms will be cheaper for two of you, as I seem to be paying for a double room rather then a single person.

You'll live comfortably on £600 a month, you'll even be able to have the occasional luxury (or police bribe ).
