Backpack for Kenya, Nepal and India
Hello,
I'm traveling through Kenya, Nepal and India starting in September and I'm bit undecided about the size of my pack, either 35, 40 or 50. I'll be in Kenya from Sept-Oct, Nepal from Oct- November and India December - Feb. I figure I'll stock up on layers via Icebreakers and bring a fleece, but buy a jacket in Nepal if I need it. I'll also be taking my laptop and possibly DSLR if not point and shoot. I'll mostly be staying in mid-range hostels, single room or working out of an orphanage for volunteer work, so I'm quite stationary in Kenya and Nepal, but planning on going all over in India. It will be my first time to all countries and backpacking. Any suggestions? I'm 5'3" with athletic build and don't want to carry more than 25lbs. Looking at a Osprey Aura 35 or 50 http://www.ospreypacks.com/detail.ph...ab=description OR Northface Terra 40 http://www.thenorthface.com/webapp/w...ariationId=G03 |

Hi,
Welcome to India.... I think those are perfect. But make sure you are carrying enough woolen materials as it will be cold. Whats your travel plan ? How many of you are travelling to India ? Regards |
