i brought a bit of t.p., but it was all over at major tourist spots. those little pre-packaged moist towelette thingys come in handy...and take up little room. also, for the ladies, if attached to a certain brand of feminine products, i'd bring that too... try not to sweat things too much. when i was packing for my trip, my husband kept reminding me that i was travelling to a civilized nation, not going camping...and if i forgot something, would most likely be able to purchase it in india. turns out he was right.

Of course, that may be because I never have been right

A small bottle of instant hand sanitizer in my purse came in very handy. (larger refill was in my suitcase)

An insulated (cloth) pet bottle cover to keep cold drinks cold and from sweating in your bag.

Your indiamike password. I couldn't write while away because I forgot my password (and also didn't really have time or facilities to write)

I cant recommend the Petzl head torch enough ...
I'd also take a pack of cards ...
A ball of String ...always handy
A small pocket size world atlas ...because i like maps and most people dont know where Scotland is
Depending on your smoking habits ...a box of rizla though they are easier to find these days if i remember right ...I still have nightmares about Capstan rolling papers lol
depending on where you're going a mossie net ...light small and a god send when needed
A dentist appointment before you go
if you're taking an MD take some blank discs ...they're virtually impossible to find
Small pocket binoculars

Im sure i can think fo something else I usually forget to pack given enough time hahahaha
Most othe r things youc an pick up in India

Oh oh ...A good padlock!!!!!!!!
