A Checklist for your baggage

hi Everyone !!

Mentioning below a very basic checklist (whatever is applicable to you as per requirement and interest) for all the people travelling in India:

A kit of your basic personal care products (Whatever you use) like

Toothpaste - Hair cream / Gel - Face cream - Lip Guard - Medicine for Cough & Cold - Liquid Soap (Prefer Medicated) - Shaving cream / gel - Shampoo, deodorant / perfumes or any other cosmetics.

Reason being is these are the things that can be harmful enough if you use an incompatible one (that doesn't suit you) during a long vacation or travel. You should always opt for Portable (small) packings of all this stuff.

Few things that you might not get upto your choice (That may cause a lot of uncomfort to you) if you forget them and try to purchase during traveling:

Inner wears - Socks - Sunglasses

Common things that u must remember,
Basic Firstaid kit (Plus some self adhesive Bandage Strips) - Pen - Note pad/ Diary - Toothbrush - Comb / Hair Brush

Gadgets / Tools
Swiss Knife - Small Torche - A needle and thread - Camera (Prefer digital) - Audio kit (MP3 /CD Walkman) - Mobile / Cell Phone and it's charger - If Possible and convenient a Laptop / Palmtop -

Clothes
Prefer Jeans you need less maitainance for it (One Jeans can be a substitute for three trousers) - Try carrying wrinkle free / uncrushable (If possible stainfree) shirts & Tops - Chose colours that don't too much reflect the dust - In winter prefer Leather Jackets

Especially for people traveling on Bikes / Two wheelers
A Full Face Helmet is a must on Indian Roads (Prevents Dust, Chill and Injuries) - Valid Registration of Vehicle, Insurance, Pollution Check Certificate - Prefer a routine checkup of vehicle before you leave - Gloves in winters

Especially for people traveling in Cars
Valid Registration of Vehicle, Insurance, Pollution Check Certificate - Prefer a routine checkup of vehicle before you leave

Running short of time shall update the details later.

Please add your suggestions

Andy

How about condoms, KY gel, Immodium - These are probably available in India but I feel safer with my own supply, Inhaler for asthmatics.
I prefer lightweight khakis to Jeans as jeans are a bit heavy and take ages to dry.

Nice Comments

If you really know how to pack this whole stuff can easily fit into an adidas shoulder bag.
