Hi wanderlust and welcome to indiamike.com

Firstly, I haven’t been to the area, so can't offer any useful advice.

I have been researching the area east of Ledo for a while and have found it very difficult to get info, so I wish you the best of luck.

I don't know where nehatour get their information; the park is over 100 km from the Bramaputra River.

I will be in the Digboi/Ledo/Tipong area in about 3 weeks, there are some expats living in Digboi, I will ask them for any info they have about the park, they may have been there.

It sounds a fascinating place.

gracias steven,
thanks for the input... this is where i have gotten so far... info is available in a decent form from arunachal bhawan in new delhi, its right next to the samrat hotel on the race course road circle... now what i am looking for is a travellers account, because people do go there... nandampha is a dream from what i heard, i got an acount of the place from a whacked out nature photographer friend of mine.. his advice was to get a hook up from the government, in some way.. am exploring that area... as far as travelling goes, i just came back from a malabar trip mumbai- kanya kumari on a borrowed enfield... so am back catching up on work, but do give me your accounts of the area, would be greatly appreciated... thanks a lot

Hi wonderlust

I'm trying to get a booking for the Tipong Colliery guest house at the moment, not exactly a National Park, but it will be perfect for what I've got in mind.

I will get in touch if I find out anything that I think will be of use to you.

I will also give you my opinion of the area when I get home.
