Hi all,
the question, whether the relaxation of the PAP-rules for foreigners would be temporarily in 2011 only, has been asked at a few places in the forum, so I put this info here (admins please move elsewhere if found useful)
Local info has it, that the sheme will pe prolonged for at least another year, as shown here:

If a mod sees this again though, it might be an idea to retitle it "PAP relaxation extended in NE states"
From that article, I guess it applies notably to Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland.
