NE India Road conditions
Hi,
Planning to do a cycle tour thru NE states this time next year and wondering what the road conditions are like in the area? Because of permits I expect to only be able to do Assam and Meghalaya. Are the roads, paved, potholed, dirt, gravel, what? Also, what is the level of traffic on main roads, and is there sometimes good secondary road options? Are there flatter areas or is it all just up and down roads? Finally, has anyone ever cycled there????! And, does anyone know if it is possible to go around Anarunchal Pradesh not just on a guided tour. Thanks! |
