Meghalaya

Has anyone visited Nohaliki Falls (scuse the speelung!) in Meghalaya. The LP reports that these may be the 4th highest falls on earth. Can anyone offer more - I've an urge to visit! Is it worthwhile? Are they amazing?
I also read somewhere that there is an old ruined city in the area as well. Could someone with more expertise than me enlighten me?

Cheers

We haven't been to the Nohkalikai Falls, only the falls at Mawsmai which are not far away. As it was the dry season there was only a small amount of water.

Both places would probably be spectacular in the height of the monsoon but then you might not be able to see them for mist.

I don't know of any ruined cities in this area, but there are a lot of megalithic standing stones similar to those found in the Celtic parts of Europe.
