Lakshadweep in Nov?
Hi,
Am planning a trip to Lakshadweep in Nov - 15-22nd. One, is that a good time? Two, any good off-beat, doesn't-bankrupt-me places to stay? Three, is 7 days a decent time to visit Kadmath, Agatti and Bangaram? Four, any off-beat places that anyone can recommend? Would appreciate any help/suggestions etc. |

7 days is a decent time to visit most islands in the Lakshadweep.
The most economical option for staying at and visiting the Lakshdweep islands is to take the Lakshadweep Tourism packages. These allow you to visit more than one island and stay is reasonable. But mind you, these are package tours, so they come with fixed departure times and follow fixed time schedules, which may not allow you to tailor your holiday. Moreover, the islands are a place where you just relax rather than follow a time schedule - "9.00am breakfast, then depart for island tour, followed by lunnch...'. You get my point, right? So check out the Lakshadweep tourism packages. There is a thread on Indiamike with a trip report on the package tour. About local islands, Bangaram and Agatti could be combined in a day trip. Though there is nothing on Bangaram as such, except a resort, where you can have a drink (the only island where alcohol is allowed). |
