Lakshadweep - High speed boat/Helicopter transport

I will be visiting Lakshadweep islands this December. The ship cruise takes a long time ( 20 hrs) and I would like to avoid it, but at the same time do not want to make the trip very expensive. I recently heard that there is also a High speed boat transport, and helicopter transport to the Andrott island of lakshadweep.

Do any of you guys have info about the High speed boat or the helicopter transport.

Also, in which of the several islands do you get to do scuba diving. And how much does it cost and the procedures for beginners if any. Plz le me know

Also the pics that some users posted really where inspiring.
