independent trek, bomdila to tawang

hey gang, in guwahati hungrily eyeing arunachal pradesh. is it possible to make a trek independently to tawang, staying in villages/guesthouses along the way? if so, what's an appropriate route? is it obvious? challenging?

I along with 1-2 of my friends are planning for a trip to north east mainly AP, Sikkim and Bhutan for 9-15 days in first week of April. I have no idea about these places but i would really like to explore them as an enthu traveler. Places that are not easily accessible. Any pointers or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Anyone who is going to be around some of these places like trekkingjb mentioned and do not mind taking along 1-2 persons along will also be great.

Hello and welcome to IndiaMike! Don't forget that you need a special permit (called Restricted Area Permit, or RAP for short) to visit Arunachal Pradesh.

You are thinking of a trek from Guwahati to Tawang? In December? I think it is impossible given the weather conditions. Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable will be along soon to help you.
