Guwahati -> Shillong
Hi all,
I'm a brand new member here on IndiaMike and am heading out to India in two days for my first ever visit! I'm flying in to Mumbai and then onwards to Guahati. After that I will need to go up the mountain to Shillong. Can anyone tell me how easy it will be to find a taxi to take me to Shillong? How much should I be looking to pay for the journey (I believe it's 2-3 hours?) Thanks in advance ![]() |

shared taxis
From the airport or from the main railway station you can find shared taxis that will take you to shillong. There are two types of shared taxis
1) tata indica: these seat 4-5 and costed around 150 per person 2) Tata Sumo: these seat 10-12 people and used to cost around Rs. 120 per person (All prices are one year old and from the railway station.. from airport it will cost a bit extra) |
