Cherrapunji and Assam
I am headed for Cherrapunji soon. Yes, in the torrential rain... all because I am writing an article about the world's wettest place, so nope, I'm not a madman.
I will be starting my journey from Bangalore. To my understanding, this would mean: Bangalore - Kolkata (train) Kolkata - Guwahati (train) Guwahati - Cherrapunji (bus) Anyone been to NE India recently? Any advice, hotels, transport, etc? |
