Cattle Mela - Sonepur
Has anyone have some (first-hand?) info on the Cattle Mela at Sonepur (Saran district/Bihar - November) in recent years ?
 Worth going there ? Are there accomodation problems, if basic is OK ? Any problems getting/staying there during the mela ? Is it wise or stupid to avoid 'Kartik Purnima' ?Thanks. |

Or is it a too dangerous area (corruption, dacoits, ....) ? |
