Trekking Along The Bank Of The Baitarani

The Baitarani River is considered as one of the holy rivers of India. The River originates from Gonasika of Keonjhar district in Orissa at an elevation of 900 m above sea level. The uppermost part of the river, about 80 km in length, flows in a northerly direction; then the River flows eastward. The river is 360 km long and joins the sea after joining the Brahmani at Dhamra mouth near Chandabali. It would be quite exciting to trek on the bank of the River right from the picturesque Gonasika to the river mouth.
