Anybody can throw any light how to go to Phulbani form Kolkata?

you have to come to bhubaneswar first by a overnight train,then a taxi or a bus ride to phulbani.

Thanks . But any idea about accomodation and the conveyance available. it will be very helpful if u can share any knowledge in this regard.

you can find lodge in pulbani.

name=hill view lodge
cost=around 200 per night.

phulbani is approx 220 km from bhubaneswar
you can find bus from bhubaneswar

Thanks a lot 4 the info . we plan to go there around first week of May this year . But as usual we need to plan beforehand for this kind of midyear tour.hence the questions. I will really appreciate if you can tell me more about the belt or forward any link about the same . I just heard the names but nothing in detail. I think it southern orissa. right? Orissa Govt website did not offer much help

its not exactly southern district.can i ask why phulbani???you peolple intrested in tribal tour or what???.kindly clarify.

Phulbani would be pretty cool by now and if you try darinbadi it will be almost freezing, the hills are pretty good and the ride in bus has great sight seeing options. If it fits your budget i can sugest you take a train from bhubeneshwar till berhampur and hire a cab and go to phulbani.

Thanks a lot . Yes I was thinkig of taking cab only. But tell me if there is any decent accomodation in daringbari or is it advisable to stay at phulbani and roam around

Daringbari has a guest house for govern persons or something,i was there long long time back when i bought my pet, if you have any official contacts im sure it will work out. Other than that i don't think there are any good hotels in that place. so may be phulbani is a better option.
