| Konark - Transport Options I just wanted to know if there are regular local bus services between Konark - Bhubaneshwar and also Konark - Puri. I plan to get down at Bhubaneshwar, go to Konark, stay overnight, and next morning want to go to Puri. Hiring a car is an option but will be costly, and want to avoid it.

| ac tavera for full day is available at around Rs. 2000/- to 2500/- perday. you can stay at Puri and visit sun temple or on the way from BBN to puri you can visit sun temple. it is advisbale to visit sun temple during sunrise or sunset time.

| Thanks for the reply. I have visited Konark four times already, shooted a lot, but not in the night. My sole purpose will be to shoot the Sun Temple with artificial illumination, as stated. And I need to do this at a minimal cost, so want to know about the local bus options. I know there will be plenty of car hiring options, as there are no dearth of travel agencies in Puri or Bhubaneshwar. Somebody please help with local bus services. |
